Marsh Engle’s Personal Story
Marsh Engle is on a mission, one that takes her around the world – whether as a vibrant speaker, as an accomplished coach & author or through global media broadcast. Drawing on her natural talent as an inspiring, motivational communicator Marsh celebrates the power of people everywhere!
For over 20 years Marsh made her living as a highly respected marketing expert leading the launch of successful campaigns for television and film studios including Sony Pictures, Paramount Studio and Universal. She built a multi-million dollar company while as a single mom she raised two young sons. She’s been nominated among the Power 100 Women in Entertainment and named among Who’s Who in American Women. By any standard, she was on the fast-track of success. In 1999, however, a tide of personal calamities forced Marsh to refocus her life direction.
First was the sudden death of her mother. Then, while grieving her loss, she was handed a health diagnosis that threatened to take her own life. Just as she started to regain her health, her father passed.
Charting a New Course
“Out of my despair grew a new clarity. I began by investigating the actions and attitudes of people, especially women, who have attained significant life transformations. I studied their esteem and confidence, reviewed their decision-making process, explored their assumptions and examined their practice of focus and commitment. I looked at, questioned, and learned from each of them. But, along the way I began to discover something very surprising: Throughout my investigation I witnessed, again and again, the ways in which these bright, intelligent, talented women were struggling to be free and prosperous in their creative expression, happy in their success, balanced in their life.”
Then, came the day that Marsh presented herself with a life-changing question: Why is it that I keep seeing so many women hiding their talents, their vision and ambitions? “That was it! Wow, I could now see that the struggles of the women I interviewed were the identical patterns I was striving to be free of myself. Even with all of the worldly success, there was a deeper part of Self expression that longed to be free … to be shared with others.”
So, Marsh committed to shift the inner and outer-paradigm of Self-definition – first in her own life and then serve others who wish to do the same. To do so she immersed herself in a deep study of world wisdom traditions including the work of don Miguel Ruiz, author of the international bestseller, The Four Agreements. “I’ve discovered that, surprisingly, the fear of being amazing is not relegated to just a few select people. The fact is, we are constantly growing into new, deeper levels of creative expression. As we move through this growth it is natural to come up against some level of fear and resistance.”
Today, the focus of Marsh Engle is pointed towards sharing all she’s learned through dynamic programs, live events and transformational workshops. As founder and CEO of ENVISION NETWORK, Marsh brings together a community of creative entrepreneurs who are making a difference in their lives and in the world.
